In-toto Kitchens Southport is calling for zero tolerance on drink drivers after 2 collisions have damaged their shop frontage in just six weeks.

In-toto Kitchens, Southport at 72 Eastbank Street has been the victim of two drink-driving incidences resulting in smashed windows - and latterly the destruction of the entire double shop frontage.

Now, the owners, Simon and Jane Miller, are calling for awareness across the Sefton community on drink-driving.  Pushing the road safety charity 'Brake's' message -  it's NONE for the road - they are particularly concerned that Southport's Eastbank Street has seen 5 such drink-drive incidents in a matter of weeks and it is only a matter of time before someone gets killed.

'After our first collision, on Good Friday, we just shrugged the incidence off as an unfortunate event.  We had literally just finalised details for the rebuilding of that section of the shop frontage, due to start this week, when the second incidence happened,' said Simon.

'The second collision resulted in far, far greater damage and will mean the rebuilding of our entire shop frontage. We are keen to stress to everyone that behind the temporary frontage it's business-as-usual for us: our showroom is intact.'
